How does it give you the look of a natural tan?

Our bronzing formulas are made up of two parts DHA and instant bronzers. The DHA part of the formula takes 4 - 8 hours to develop, this is the part that gives you the lasting tan.DHA reacts with the outer layer of the skin, leaving you with a beautiful tanned look. Although the tan takes time to develop you will have instant color right after being sprayed as there is a bronzer in the solution. The bronzer will give you the look of a tan until the DHA develops.

 How long will the application take?

The application itself takes approximately 20 min , a little longer than some other methods but we believe it is worth it to be sure of the most flawless tan possible.

How long will the tan last?

One application will give you  instant color and the tan will last approximately 4-10 days, depending on your skin type.We suggest using our tan extender lotion to prolong your tan up to 14 days. Reapplication every 7 days is recommended if you want to keep the tan up. Or just come in if you have a special occasion!

What should I do before and after my spray tan?

Exfoliate your skin really well, shave or wax prior to having your tan appointment. Wear old swimsuit or underwear for spray tan. Wear loose dark clothing for after spray tan. Allow tan to develop 4 - 8 hours, then shower off the bronzer, pat your skin dry, and moisturize twice daily.

Are there different colors?

Despite what people say it is not different colors, it is different strengths of DHA that will determine how light or dark the tan is. The bronzer that washes off when you shower is only a color guide for the person spraying you to see where product has been applied. Sunless Effects Airbrush Tanning has 3 different strengths of DHA, including clear with no bronzer in it.

Why do you use an airbrush instead of a spraygun?

With an airbrush you have more control on how much product is being applied to client, so as not to over spray. You can use the airbrush to contour the body, highlight muscle definition, and create the look of having make-up on.
